Your grey 24 was fine example. It's quite rare model, coming from the age when 24 and 2410 were both on production line. Not much of these are left in original condition. Though it's Gaz 24 by name, it uses already 2410-s platform and body frame. The seats came from 3102, not 2410. And the set of 24 dashboard and floor mounted handbrake was something I had not seen before.
One day I'd like to make some good pictures of it to put them on the volga.ee page, as an example of original year 85 Gaz 24.
The extra ordinary equipment - soft leather covered dashboard - it came straight from the movie "The natural born killers"
